Join us for the 2016 for the Sequoia Century.
Enjoy an epic challenge with tons of climbing in the incredibly beautiful Santa Cruz Mountain range. This event is geared toward the adventurous cyclist who loves to climb. Challenging routes with various distances from 70 miles to 120 miles.The 2016 Sequoia Century will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Sponsored by Western Wheelers Bicycle Club, the ride will feature three routes, all scenic and challenging. All routes will start from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, CA and climb Redwood Gulch to Skyline Blvd before descending to the coast. All riders w
The 70-mile route starts in Los Altos Hills, climbs Redwood Gulch and Big Basin Way to Saratoga Gap, goes north on Skyline, descends Alpine Road to La Honda, continues to San Gregorio, climbs Tunitas Creek Road, descends Kings Mountain to Woodside, and returns to Los Altos Hills. Total climb is about 6700 feet.
The 100-mile route follows the 70-mile route, and adds a loop to Pescadero and Pigeon Point. Total climb is about 8500 feet.
